I've come across the same issue as he has, as i understand he was using 1.0.1 with hot fixes?
beside that i'll outline my entire process!
kk here goes...
Everything is running under windows server 2003.
I installed xampp.
"xampp-win32-1.6.3a-installer.exe"
Containing the following;
* Apache HTTPD 2.2.4 + Openssl 0.9.8e
* MySQL 5.0.45
* PHP 5.2.3
* PHP 4.4.7
* phpMyAdmin 2.10.3
* Zend Optimizer 3.3.0
* 1.6.3 Patch
I currently use navicat to handle mysql database.
I acquired my mangos core package from mangos-files.de at version 4208.
Along with that came ad.exe and the mpq files for 2.1.3
I extracted my own maps using ad.exe.
I executed "0.6.2_full_base_for_4120_beta3" into the mangos database, then executed the extra sql files
which were acquired with the 4208 package to match versions.
I then executed my realmd.sql from that package into the realmd database.
AT this point i tried to acquired MDH, to find our good friend has discontinued his project. (I've been living under a rock for a while now, so sorry)
in that respect I found I needed a front end to create accounts rather that using MDH.
Thus i found myself here...
Now this is where i have my problem!
I copy,
"WeboW BL for Mangos Full v1.0.2 Beta" along with hotfix "WeboW v1.0.2 Hotfix #1" to "X:\xampp\htdocs\wow"
I used both IE or firefox to set it up, I input the required fileds such as db username and password and email address.
At this point i press 'Continue' only to find myself redirected back to the originating page, mind you this only happens under firefox.
Under IE i get redirected to a blank page.
The problem IS the installation doesn't seem to finalise?
Well i hope this is enough information to assist you... apat from that the site looks amazing!

since i had many requests, the webow project is now able in SVN in here.

to start off i want to say that this is the best website ive ever seen. i LOVE it. it seriously has alot of features
but heres my problem(well actually two problems):
first: ok so i try to create an account but then the security code on step 2 doesn't show up....
second: after i figured out the code and disabled the security code step i created the account and after that i tried logging in but it said invalid user name or password so i checked MySQL for the row that was supposed to be my account but all i could find is the one that the server had originally which is called administrator and as of now the only way i can manage the site.....
so my questions are:
1. is there a fix for the security code thing? (btw i tried this with IE and Firefox neither show the code)
2. why is the account not being created? (i really dont think its the ports or any thing like that because i tried creating it on localhost also)
3. is there a fix for that? (also tried this on IE and Firefox)

P.S. i am using the newest version and the hot fix, ports are open for sure because the game server works and is on the same machine, and if theres anything i forgot to say please let me know
php version? plus you have to activate some module (forgot the name) under your php server to show the security code, can you supply your website link?

i couldnt create account aswell, but do u have GD2 enabled?
its required by php to show dinamic images, its a module for the php server.
what have you changed on your account.create.php file?
Oh its that... i should have had that running to start with because ive used it before...but its running now.
and to tell you the truth i really dont know what ive changed... but ill just reinstall it.

EDIT:: Are you sure it was GD2 because i re-enabled it and it still doesnt work... no image pops up. its called php_gd2.dll right? and btw i am using WAMP.
EDIT2:: the only thing i can think of is that GD2 has to be enabled BEFORE the web site install... ill try that now
EDIT3:: Yep that was it ... you have to install GD2 BEFORE installing the website

Hi i have just dowloaded this website and it works (im using WAMP 1.6.2a or something) exept that i can't make an account or login to my admin account. I have read that it is about this GD2 bu i dont have a clue how to enable that. Can anyone pleese help me THX :D
i've discover that the ones who couldnt install the webow normaly, is a problem of mysql modules (not existents or not enabled). in some cases php 5 is a need.
