Happen to see your post. I think I know what's doing this. I had the same thing happen to me too.
Open up your realmd.conf file in notepad. Make sure that this information is correct.
LoginDatabaseInfo = "127.0.0.1;3306;root;mangos;realmd"
in respect to your Mysql information and the table name in the database itself : )
Hey guys how do i connect to my own server if it is configures for the web ... in other words how do i have it open to the web and be able to connect to lan at the same time
I donno if its my computer or what I got the SQL running smooth then I got the realm running but when I went to start up the MangosDB it starts for 2 seconds then it closes out, so I cant get what it says but it is red. Right after the database connects i think is when this happens. I reinstalled and made sure I did everything right but yet I still have a problem.
Update: 2007-04-18 23:52:39 ERROR:Check existing of map file './data/maps/0004331.map': not exist!

For some reason the maps were put in the wrong place... :wounded2:
Yea so I just exacuted data.exe again and problem solved!
i'm a real noob at this, but want to learn howto do it.
when i install this pack and do evrything i have to.. ( install in c drive, start with the link in start menu, and press start sql as instructed) i always get the msg:
The disk W is busy. use start.bat [disk letter]

Press any key to continue . . .
and then it shut's down :s
i don't have sql running nor apache, skype is down to, so i don't know what iu'm doing wrong... didn't change anything to it...

uhh well im sure some one will solve this problem but I would try unpacking the data.exe file. My Computer -> Local Disk -> Dev-ATeam M@nG@S Server -> data -> data.exe
or you could just use navicat and look at the banned ip list and see if there is anything wrong
Also, noticed some objects or creatures weren't interactable when that hand icon turned into that gear looking thing.
A couple of guards in Stormwind looked like they were being pulled away by an invisable force
These were standing by the guy on a horse when I first walked into stormwind.
When I got close to them they did this (scary face I guess)
I'm thinking it has something to do with waypoints
I'm thinking .setmovetype or .addmove command may fix it
Thought there was a command for allowing/disallowing movement too but cannot find it
Will be doing more testing of this pack, very pleased with the outcome of it so far :square_g:
