Exactly my problem, although walking through the portal works while grouped or sometimes with .gmon on it works, but you can not portal in. I don't think anyone knows how to fix it because I have posted this on multiple forums with no replies.

This happens to me as well, but I'm able to portal into some instances, such as Hyjal.

and download the newest repack, just do all the shit again, then you need the map extracter not in the repack but at the bottom of that guide the enGb or Us or w/e and it works a treat, it gives the correct maps and everything, i have also solved my vendors problem if oyu need help with that...

Reinstalled entire server, maps, and instance fixes, still getting "You tried to join an invalid instance (~ on map ~) Repopping at entry point." when i attempt to .recall to given instance. Some of which i cannot enter period.
It's not the repack, or the core. There is a simple solution, actually! Say you're trying to get into the Emerald Dream (map/instance ID 169).. Simply do .createinstance 169 (should say something along the lines of 'creating instance ### on map 169), and then .goinstance (instance number it gives) x y z
After it ports you into the instance any .recall ports that you have in an instance will work, but they dont work outside of the instance though.
I've been told that porting to instances does NOT work.
You need to walk there.
Since trying this i haven't had any more problems, yet. Thanksx1000 =)
Most should work by walking to them like ShinnAsuka said, but sometimes it doesn't.
Walking in works, but I need to be able to portal in and none of these solutions work yet. Anyone know if there is like a .recall port insidekara?
cmon, .recall port kara takes you like 15 feet from the door lol
/sigh, I need to be able to PORTAL inside with a custom portal. :34: I found a karazhan portal in the db, I'll test it out.
portal to the door, then make a portal in the instance where you want the users to be able to portal to. I'm assuming you want to make a portal to illidian.
