Introduction
Hello! Thanks for stopping by. Rusty Hearts was a free-to-play dungeon crawler that has been closed down since 2014. Ever since it did, we have been hard at work to try and resurrect the game in it's entirety. Considering there are only leaked server files for version 3, this was no small feat. We wanted to run a server but we wouldn't be happy running an outdated, instable server with many bugs and exploits. So we decided to build our own emuserver and it's been in development for years. This server is known as the "Revolution" server, but still needs a lot of work before it's ready for the public.
We greatly underestimated the scope of the project and it's still work in progress, but we still wanted to give a new home to players who miss their favorite game. So we made the impossible happen and patched the hell out of the original files and now we have a server that supports a newer game client from 2013 as opposed to the original 2011 compatible client. We dubbed this the 'Reborn' server. Every donation we get goes towards finishing up the emuserver as well as reversing file formats and thus being able to make tools to create custom content. The emuserver will support all content from the Reborn server along with more content and customization and the latest Japanese and Indonesia clients released from 2014!

Available content:
Level cap is currently 30 but can go up to 60. We're balancing every dungeon to make sure the difficulty feels just right. Vanilla was too easy, international versions were too hard and/or boring. We're aiming for the sweet spot based on community feedback. Level cap will increase when work is done and most people are level 30.

Rates
Rates are vanilla for most things, with some adjustments where they make sense. We're not about crazy rates, we want to create a balanced game with a thriving economy.

Cash Shop
We're heavily reliant on donations to keep our servers running, but we still wanted to make things fair for everyone. As such, all aspects of pay2win have been completely removed from the game! Magic Chests of Change, Socket Punches, Alchemist Jars and other stat enhancing items are now given by certain quests and can also drop in dungeons. The cash shop only has cosmetics and pets. On top of that, crafted costumes can now also contain random buffs, so you never have to pay a dime to compete.

Anti-Cheat
We have patched many functions to not allow things like item duplication (for example through trading), and will ban those who attempt any kind of hacking and also those who are reported by other users. We're on top of this and we take it very seriously.

Continued updates
We will keep updating and changing the game as the project goes on, fixing bugs and adding new content.

Friendly Staff & Community
We have a discord server with dedicated support and feedback channels and everyone is free to join us!
Our staff is also very active in the game, so don't be surprised if you see GM's roaming the world!

Custom options
We allow use of the !setcolor command to change the color of your name for the ingame chat, and also added timestamps. Many more things like this will be possible in the future so stay tuned!

How to Play
Simply register an account on our forums. You will receive an email to confirm your account after doing so. From here on out simply head to the download page and download the Reborn client!

This server has been under my eyes for years now, I couldn't find how to join and play.

Can you explain how to register and play on this server since it's say on how to play under the main website the following :

This server is still in development and closed beta, it has not yet released to the general public. A release date has not been determined yet. This means that it is not available for download to the public as of now. During development access to the server is granted to Donators and Testers. When we are accepting them, at that time you can apply to become a tester by creating an application on the forum. Otherwise you can visit the donate page to find out more info on our access gifts given to donators.

EDIT : Never mind the server now open to public, FREE TO PLAY Finally the last standing Rusty Hearts server is now open to the globe!

All you need to play is register in the forums and then download the game and play.

Hi,

I tried your Server.

It dont feel like a pserver at all.
What i miss:

there should be 2x exp.
more drops or special drops. (kinda boring)
some nice starter items.
NO weapon and armor duration (its extremly annoying).
Easier way to get a pet.
1-30 lvling is very dogged.
