    2nd monitor video freezing

The Tab button on my laptop is fucked, so i plugged in a 2nd monitor to my laptop so i can easily do 2 things at once without needing to Alt+Tab. Having video playback issue with VLC, so thought i'd ask anyone here for ideas.

I can move VLC to my 2nd monitor and play movies full-screen on there just fine, but the moment i open up a full-screen application (Warcraft 3) on my main monitor, the video on the 2nd screen freezes while the audio keeps playing. This happens regardless if it is in full-screen or windowed mode, and it continues playing again once I've Alt+Tabbed out of the game and back into Windows.

    Info:
    1366x768 monitor #1
    1280x1024 monitor #2
    VLC version 1.1.7
    Windows 7 home Premium x32

It's probably your video card bitching.

Yea... no. If you're posting just to raise your post-count, do it somewhere else.

Does it happen only with Warcraft? Or with any graphical application?

Actually, yeah, it does only seem to happen with WC3. Loaded Left 4 Dead just then and the video on the 2nd screen continued playing just fine.

Then I very doubt that it's related to the graphic card, though I can't say for sure what the problem is since I never encountered anything alike.

There is software, that emulates a Direct X environment for software, that might help. It's usually used to play a game windowed that originally doesn't support windowed mode. I can't guarantee it will work but it's the only thing that comes up in my mind
