reasons why azureus doesnt beat utorrent

    1. it runs off java

    2. it takes up abou 25mbs of ram

    3. it has an ugly UI

    BitComet.

Azereus is an elephant, and uTorrent is like a mouse.

I prefer something not as minimalistic as uTorrent, but not as hueg as Azereus. Also BitComet is the only client I've found that enables the renaming of files in multi-file torrents before they're downloaded (a necessity thanks to the idiots that like to put strange characters in filenames -.-)

i used utorrent and was contacted by my ISP... that was a log time ago

I have had 0 problems with Azereus and when you have 2gb of ram memory doesn't matter. :D

Although I use Waste with my friends, it's a Private p2p line, so only the people you want see what you have.

utorrent is best, edit the settings to quick connection and some other things ;) and your downloading most torrents at 50%+ of your download rate :P

agreed, i really bum off bitcomet

i do have azareus running atm but that is only because some networks block bitcomet, tbh i just checked my task manager and azereus was taking 60,000k of memory i can live with that it doesnt even make a noticable difference

whenever i introduce friends to torrents i always bitcomet its nice and user friendly

That is, if the files could be created in the first place. Which they can't, if they contain characters like ":" which are not allowed in Windows but *nix handles them fine (in *nix, filenames can have almost any character except / and null...)
