    Browsing for Laptops

    I'm looking about for a new Laptop and I plan on saving up for a new one, I was looking at the HP site and I saw this laptop and I just wanted your opinions on it to see if it was a good choice or not.

    Well, general usage, multi tasking, something that can handle big games without lagging on me half the time.

    If u plan to game on ur laptop with everything is ok but GFX. U need geforce 8600+ if u want to get decent fps. Geforce 9000M just got out, so mayB u can think on give it time to get to the market.

    The Dell XPS M1530 .. .Pwnge. Been using it from the last 5 months now and it just rocks.

    Personaly. i would build a PC. I considered buying another laptop. but PCs are more upgradeable then laptops.

    And that is a good find. ^^

    Just remember, you're talking to an idiot who doesn't even know what a PSU is.

    I'd rather buy a pre-built one than make one tbh. Also, if anyone has any links to a British store, that would be fantastic.

    Lol. Laz were in the same pool of spagetti ;] I dont know what a PSU is, Yet, once i order my case in a few days. ill start researching parts.

    a british site errr. im in the us, I sorry, ill try to see what i can find.

    Nevermind, i cant look. On rents Desktop internet is way to fucking slow cause this comp sucks.

    if i was on my laptop id look. but thats being reformatted damn BSOD. Lol.

    The specs aren't that bad. But I recommend Dell laptops, they're good too.

    its a low spec single core laptop running vista home prem - running 2.5 gig ram but still runs very well - i have it set up as a media center for downstairs

    Sounds decent, but I'm looking for a fast laptop that can handle multi-tasking with big programs as I intend to use it during my exams for the next few years.

    Well, since i need a laptop too, i may as well post here rather than making another thread.

    how about it guys? I use it for gaming, development, and media stuffs. I think its good. What you guys think?

    Oh and the best part. My mom doesn't believe in Rebate lol, she said to me "yeah, they not gonna give your any money back (rebate)" and i made a bet, if i get the rebate, its mine. :P

    Dell laptops are custom configured.
    I had to order mine over phone and they take the order and ask you what you'd like your specifications to be.
    Enuf options to make it good enough to suit you.
