    Can phpmyadmin Runs Without Apache ?

    Hello everyone,

    Just a quick question, Can phpmyadmin runs without a apache or any webserver in Linux based server ?

    No, it's designed to be used in conjunction with a web-server (as they also state on their homepage).

    If you don't want an httpd installed on your system you should look into either the bundled command line tools or graphical MySQL clients.

    You don't even need to make the SQL server accessable from the outside (in case you want to use graphical tools like Navicat), using SSH's port forwarding feature will allow you to securely connect from any host without exposing the SQL server's interface.
