    Dell XPS M1530

Hey all, poping back and forth recently.

I've just decided I need a laptop for work because the office isnt really good at the moment, and they are offering to transfer the systems onto a disk, don't ask me !!

So I went and bought a dell XPS m1530 laptop.

Picking it up tomorrow night because dell quoted me 20 days for delivery and I decided to opt out..

Wondering if anyone has any views on it?

Make sure you buy a full coverage warranty. Their laptops are not durable. Sure they run very nice but they break to easy.

I have a 1505 and it's gone through 3 motherboard, 2 keyboards, 2 palm rests, and 1 set of speakers.

And my mate's has been through even more crap then that...

Yeah, I think it comes with a 1 year warranty, and then after that you can renew it if you want which we have done with all of our laptops in the past so no dout I will be doing it with this awesome laptop!! Graphics are staggering... Really just staggering.

Edit: On a side note, XP would have been alot better.. However I cannot obviously do this as I have tried to install a few times and one one of my discs I get "Cannot find a harddrive" or somthing and then on another I get a blue screen after about 45mins of waiting for it to install >.<

Why do people always ask people for advice or opinions after they order or get their items? What good will our posts be then? Not like you can do anything about it if we say its shit.

And wasn't it Dell who made it difficult to install any other type of OS? Hate laptops cos they are all premade, things you build yourself are so much better.

This one can be totally customized and I mean totally. I totally pumped mine up. I prefer it that way in a laptop atleast. Coz assembling it all over personally in a laptop kinda gets painful if you ask me or probably aint even possible.
