I've been having a great deal of fun with the GEFS, however sometimes it's kind of ruined because the terrain such as mountains don't always load, sometimes either not at all or just really slow but usually just really slow. When I first started using the program though it loaded just fine, I'm just wondering if it's something with the program or with my computer, and/or if there's anything I can do to make it load the terrain chunks faster.
I'm not sure what it uses, it's a add-on to the regular Google Earth so whatever Google Earth uses. As for my computer, I haven't installed anything or really even downloaded anything since I started using GEFS, and my specs are 8 GB of RAM, 250 GB SSD, 100 GB HDD, quad core processor @ I believe 2.5 ghz, and an NVIDIA GeForce graphics card. It's not the best setup in the world obviously but it's pretty decent, and I can run other things like Minecraft with huge worlds and high end games like Black Ops 2, Bioshock etc. with no problems.
The way it loads the terrain is when you're zoomed out it shows a lower quality image and as you zoom in it loads better and better quality images, if that helps at all.
Any and all help is greatly appreciated and I'll give you rep if you do help :)
