Installing game without admin rights

Wow, you guys are failing.

Out of EVERYONE who regularly posts here, not a single person instantly knew "OK, he's at school, which means he is connected to a DOMAIN CONTROLLER which means he has absolutely ZERO chance of gaining access to the admin account because there is no local one".

@ cthulhan - Give up mate, honestly. If it was that simple for a school kid to break into the admin account, it would not be called "security". Either stop being lazy and bring your laptop, or stop bitching that you can't install games.



What a very American attitude. Always have to have the legal high-ground on everyone. Gotta make the most out of what your "rights" are.

They didn't legally draw out the rules of conduct on a signed contract so that instantly means that there are no rules and you are allowed to do whatever you want, right?

Dude, please read through the thread before you post a message. I don't want to 'break into the admin account', I want to install a game. If you read the thread, I can't bring my laptop because it's too big. It's a very small school, the 'security' that you are referring to is therefore very low.

Depending on your school system, your best ease of access is to install the game on a USB thumbdrive, then (using a cracked no-cd exe) run it off the USB> The bad part with this, it will typically treat the cracked exe as a trojan and it -may- get picked up by the network when it scans the device after you plug it in.

I've done this many a times on closed networks, just.. don't get caught.

As many have mentioned.. its better to just get yourself a laptop - or get a good phone where you can download an emulator onto it and play some good ol fashioned nes/snes games (Which, are the best.. hands down!)

Thanks for the help. As I've said before, I have 2 laptops already, but it doesn't matter. I have an Iphone too, I'm just not satisfied :P

All you have to do is simple: Install the game on a user-created folder.

For example... create a folder on desktop or anywhere where you have access to change and do other stuff, and install the game there.

You only need admin power if you want to install it on Program Files folder.

we have our own account in my school.

but in your case i can say that you are 99.9% safe from getting banned. as all of the students used the same login details its really hard to tell which of the students installed those games.

now if they asked you did you install the game? just say no, when i was here the game is already there.

my school use junglebyte to block internet access and game playing

now, for once i have managed to get into the Admin's account and force a uninstall or i used some software to force an uninstall.

but now my school has blocked it and i can no longer remove or do anyshit with the computer
