Alright, I now that most of you are an Android fan (just like me actually, but I happen to buy a cheap iPad mini).
I just found out that iOS 7 was coming and now they have released a video about it..
Honestly, it looks kinda ugly and some features are straight off from Android. The task manager where you just browse and swipe away your asks are the same as in my HTC One X. Funny, but hopefully are the features working better, faster and handier.
As usual...Apple just adds Jailbroken options not allowed on the previous iOS'...they just steal the intellectual content of jailbreak app developers.

It's actually rather nice once you've used it for a few hours, hard to like it in the pictures really :)
The security feature is a big win in my opinion. I somehow have a feeling that there will be someone on YouTube a few weeks after it's released showing you how to bypass it when the phone is blocked though!!
Doesn't feel like much is new but looks more pretty...I'll look forward to it when it finally makes an appearance <.<
Pretty interesting actually, I actually like the look of the new design, I think Apple have finally realised people wish to customise their phone much like you can on Android, just the simplicity of the parallax effect on the homescreen makes me feel they have finally woken up to their horrible UI functionality from the past.
I am actually an Android fan myself, the only apple product I own is an iPod Touch 5 but I look forward to seeing this update on my iPod. For the comments referring to how the concepts and ideas are stolen from other phones, this might be true but let's be honest, these days everything is stolen from other companies concepts and designs. It's nothing new and they will always do it...
The only thing I dislike about the look of this update is that it's more of a design change than functionality change. The only new feature is the AirDrop the rest of this update is literally a UI design overhaul - which was needed. I'd have preferred them to redo things like the "Shuffle" which is in-fact tailoring the list with content listened to the most nearer the top. I have bad experiences from this as overtime the iPod has literally chosen what my favourite songs are and they keep coming to the top of shuffle making it seem I like them more and giving them an even higher chance of being at the top of the list... Stupid idea. I want a real shuffle that RANDOMLY selects songs - I feel this should've been an option.

But if you compare the iOS7 image to the current iOS6 lock screen the difference is they changed font, removed the background under the date/time header. No graphic for slide to unlock... Otherwise everything else is actually exactly the same.Originally Posted by MentaL

What I understand from hole video ? New icons, new blurred overlay, added particles at weather app, wallpapers works now with gyroscope and decided to move a few more things around because we have to make it look clean now (actually they realized that the space is important)... Apple.

I have a little announcement, as one of the guys working in my office is an ex-Apple employee he has been given a copy of the BETA iOS7 and I have had it installed onto my iPod. When/If I get the time I'll do a little video showing it, so far it's quite neat flows very nicely but haven't really had the time to look at it properly.

I've got it installed on my spare iPhone 5, all looks pretty neat. I'm thinking about switching back to my Samsung Galaxy though...

but Apple UI are definitely much better and professional comparing with any other OS out there, when I get my iPhone, I'll definitely upgrade to iOS7 Developer Edition and try it out. Will also leave feedback.

If you are planning to use the developer edition on your brother's iPad I'd suggest you don't, as it is only a BETA it holds quite a few little bugs and it is completely irreversible.
So my list of bugs are;
- When opening an app it leaves a small border on the right and bottom side - App moves slightly after about a second
- New alert display is obviously not complete and thus it looks TERRIBLE
- Artists tab under "Music" does not display all artists but all albums are displayed under the "Albums" tab
- Gestures are not fine-tuned and it is very difficult to press buttons on the Settings - especially when you try to turn off iCloud!
I'll report anything else I notice about the developer BETA version, but I am 100% certain none of these bugs will be present in the final product.
I'd also like to point out that there is a slight change to the way the Music app works in which it has a slightly different menu function. Also the album view on rotating a device is MUCH nicer, it now displays as a large grid you can flick through, on clicking an album it zooms into it and display the music in that album.
It also seems that currently there is no feature to shuffle or play an entire artist only an album - probably not added yet.
Something else I spotted - which might not be a bug - is that the time/date display on the lock screen does not change colour dependant on the background area behind it, this means when I set a background for my lock screen I had to make sure that section was dark else I could not see the date/time.

I installed iOS7 Beta on my iPhone 4S. It's nice, I must admit. In all major updates in anything, some people love it, and some hate it. It's nice but there's a lot of room for improvement. With the beta there is currently regular crashes etc.
