i got about hmm 1,200$ i can spend on this thing, but i wanna have a little leftover, i can get that and if anyone has any suggestions/tips on what i should change/add/remove please tell me, i wanna have a pretty good computer!

Get a 650i or 680i motherboard.

Swap to an Intel Core 2 Duo

Swap the 8800GT for either an EVGA or XFX 8800GT, they give lifetime warranty. I don't think Asus do.

That RAM is WAAAAAAY overpriced. Also PC8500 is just double the cost for 3% performance boost. Stick to PC6400. I recommend Corsair XMS2.

680i is the chipset (nVidia) for the motherboard. It is recommended to get an nVidia chipset instead of an intel one as they perform better.

so is the 1 i chose gonna work ? and are all of those parts compatable? i don't wanna get something and have to return it or anything

Looks fine apart from the graphics card. You chose a completely different one. XFX or EVGA 8800GT 512mb is fine.
