    Looking for a Tablet PC

    Hi,

I have recently been looking around for a Tablet PC but the Asus Eee slider has been one that has caught my eye. Would you recommend me this tablet or a different one for mainly web browsing and course work while I'm out of the home at my Apprenticeship as I have a lot of coursework at the moment and I need to take it there with me and back home in my bag which is not big enough for a laptop with my folder and other coursework in it.

Re: Looking for a Tablet PC

I'm personally after one of them new Dell laptop-tablet hybrids. The screen flips around so you can use it as a laptop or a tablet depending on the situation. It looks very thin, but with that you don't get a CD drive etc. My only concern atm is the processing power of the thing, and with tablets in general. On one hand it runs windows which opens up the door for all normal PC programs (and emulators!) on the other win7 isn't designed for tablets and could run very slow whereas android/apple whatever is designed to be light weight (but with limited program capabilities in both)
