    Re: New Build @Rish

Again, still lacking the GPU. These APU's are for people who do not need a GPU, who do not do gaming and can benefit from just using 1 chip to do both processing & graphics. IF you're planning to play any games at all, you need a dedicated GPU. That will run Skyrim on low, i don't expect this to play MW3 or BF3 on any playable frame rate -at all-.

Having said that, you can just build this & add a GPU later if you're lacking the funds at the moment, your 700W PSU will be enough to handle an extra GPU.

Or just give me your total budget and i'll put together a build for you. Updated PC buying guide is in the works, will be up by the weekend.

    Re: New Build @Rish

PC guides still in the works as mentioned, but the Budget build is done so here it is -

    Budget Gamer Build

    Intel Core i3-3220 Ivy Bridge 3.3GHz Intel Core i3-3220 Ivy Bridge 3.3GHz LGA 1155 55W Dual-Core Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 2500 BX80637i33220 - Newegg.com - $130

    ASRock Z75 Pro3 LGA 1155 ASRock Z75 Pro3 ATX Intel Motherboard - Newegg.com - $85

    Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 4GB (2x2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 1600 Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory (with Red/Green Light) Model BLT2KIT2G3D1608DT2TXRG - Newegg.com - $33

    HIS H785F1G2M Radeon HD 7850 1GB HIS H785F1G2M Radeon HD 7850 1GB 256-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card - Newegg.com - $170

    COOLER MASTER Elite 460 RS-460-PSAR-I3 460W COOLER MASTER Elite 460 RS-460-PSAR-I3 460W ATX12V V2.31 Power Supply - Newegg.com - $40

    Seagate Barracuda 500GB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s Seagate Barracuda ST500DM002 Internal Hard Drive - Newegg.com - $60

    Total Cost = $518

The i3 still performs faster & cooler than that APU, and the dedicated 7850 will be able to play most games at mid-high settings. The price is a little dearer than your build, but the i3 also has an integrated GPU so if you wish you could spend ~$350 now and build it WITHOUT the 7850, then add the GPU in a few weeks/months when you have the cash.

Overall though, it will perform a hell of alot better than either of those builds.

Thank you, I'll use what you just said Rishwin. My friends always said i3 is bad, it won't run anything. But now I know it's pretty damn fast when you're a heavy gamer.

btw , the case you forget, But I guess the one I listed is pretty much A-OK?

btw , If I get a case, Does it comes with the cables I need? Or Do I have to buy them myself

Ah yes, here's another little snippet from the guides - "These builds do not include optical drives or peripherals as they have no impact on performance. Nor do they include the case, because that's purely based on your personal preference and local avilability. Pick a case which will fit the form factor of the motherboard, if you're unsure just ask."

I didn't include optical drive or case, if you're happy with the case you've got listed above just get that. The case is more of a personal preference thing. Like the color of your car.
