.PAL , .DAT and .MRG game files

Hi guys,

Is anyone know how to open these files? those files are from a old chinese game called JY Online.

Could anyone give me some pointers please to open them?

MRG File Extension - Open .MRG files

PAL File Extension - Open .PAL files

DAT File Extension - Open .DAT files



Typically though, these are packed files, and to properly edit them you need a decompiler.. which is tough to do without the source codes. But that 100% depends on how they were packed in the first place!

.dats aren't compressed I could get the structure pretty easily if I knew Chinese but I don't so the strings look like shit to me

the .pal struct is 3079 Bytes long with 1 null byte at the begining of the file(.pal also isn't compressed)

.Mrg is just ugly and I'm too lazy to do anything more then glance at any of these
Has a fairly obvious header but the struct after is fucked up
