Stupid really... 2k lacks driver support and XP right now is the best 32-bit OS. For 64 bit then it's Vista.

Also up to date driver support seems to be dwindling for XP now also. You can't use Tri SLI, Quad SLI (9800X2s), and Crossfire X on XP and is Vista only. Shame really.

Windows XP.

Many of the initial quirks have been fixed via patching due to the length of time it's been out. In not too long, Vista will be preferable I'm sure, due to compatibility.

XP has the best compatibility with everything. I mean someone had BSOD just for having nVidia drivers on vista. Vista also gets the BSOD over nothing unlike XP you need to mes the windows files up really badly or have a broken component.

windows 95 is the windows with less errors i know the time that i had it but then came windows 98 and then windows xp came and that was a bag of shit and now is vista here and it sucks really more then bill gates

i cant justify this thread.. common people xp is now and for thwe next 3 years until vista slowly evolves.

i started to use Windows Vista Ultimate only to discover it.. i have both XP and Vista on my SATA's but... i didn't use XP since 3 weeks. and i dont see real reason to do it, everything is working fine and no.. i say no to the 'Vista is Slow'..
2GB of ram and Athlon 5k+. testing Mu Servers, programming, music,video,chat, and everything now i like more because of the look of Vista and its new features.
i have used the transformation pack for XP but its not the same.
running Service Pack 1 since 2 weeks. no bugs or errors found so far.

XP is for ppl who want to use there computers for complex programs like DOS commandments ect.
