    hey would it be worth upgrading from a E6600 to a Q6600?

    No. Not unless your going to be doing a lot of multitasking. Not many programs can take advantage of four cores at the moment so it's best to wait. (I have a Q6600.)

    Like mazo said, no. I have an e6600 and i've overclocked it on stock cooling to 3.0mhz... dont see why i would need a q6600 now. I don't run a server or anything so theres no need. And i can multi-task just fine now with msn + itunes + wc3 + firefox open. Kudos to anyone who can use more than that many apps at once.
