Hi !

I made an updater/launcher :

-Full FR/ENG Client

be sure to read README files and USER GUIDE to understand how to use it.

Originally built for Pangya, i made it adaptive to any game/server.

Any comments are welcome.

Edit :
- Added a new option to choose destination folder for downloaded files, don't forget the
USER GUIDE is your friend :p

- Fixed some stuff about static boxes (menus boxes) , it was disapearing now stays :)

- Added a "donation for dev" button :p

- Fixed always DL when setting a specific folder for DL, now won't DL if up to date

-Fixed showing the updated file(s) (more clear and user friendly) :

- Added a "time creation/modification" compare if unluckily a file to update has exactly same name and size.

No more timezone config, files verification on MD5 Hash ! ;)


Pros : No more timezone config for players, more user friendly


cons : Can take some time depending of internet connection and remote file size

- Added a line in admin's "client_config" file to set up a colour for the menus (to fit best to the background) in my exemple it's the white zones around items (23/01/2019)

Well i don't understand why you flame like this, I'm developping under Python for 10years, i had a look to what "liveguard" is developping, looks easy to do ;) I just made a free updater and i'm sharing it, if you don't like it just move the way out but don't flame, are you 15yrs old boy ? Well my english isn't perfect but at least i make it multi-languages, how about you can you speak french, spanish and chinese too ? See ya kid !

PS : Free flamers like you are the ones that deserve to be banned

Hi all !

After a long break period i started to work again on this launcher/updater...

Some improvements :

- RAR contains a French & an English version !
- Client with transparent features
- Display bug fixed !
- New method to compare MD5 hashes based on HTTP header !
- No more timezone settings !
- Set up with 8 lines in txt, no more !


Instructions :

IMPORTANT : READ FILES IN README FILES FOLDER !!!

1) Put the ".htaccess" file in your update folder e.g http://www.mydomain.mine/update or edit your own ".htaccess" if already have one add "ContentDigest On" inside.

2) Edit "client_config.conf" file as described in USER GUIDE.



Note : This file is only on server's side, don't give it to players

3) Edit "file_config.conf" file manually or in updater settings, it gives the adress for updater to look for "client_config.conf" file.



Well that's all folks ! The setup is finished ! Now just distribute it with your game's client !
