Once there was a patent for having chat on MMOs in consoles (owned by Sony) so basicly every crap can be patented, it's just as good as the copyright laws, it stops creativity and development, but without it, you could invent something and someone could sell your invention in his name and legally earn all the money he gets from selling your work
That's just a dick move. I don't think it'll hold up tho.
So stupid no words can comprehend it. It's like creating a monopoly on a standard mobile device. F**k you Apple. I'll be using my iphone now with mixed feelings.

They put out a good 10 patents a day. Mostly around 2am. You'd be surprised to see how much shit they actually have patented.
