Well, just last night. i had an uninvited visitor. of a self replicating Trojan. For thoes who do not know what a Trojan Virus is, they are normaly used for keylogging, they hide in the background. saving your keystrokes. much like a keylogger. but heh this one, i have never seen. A "Self-Replicating" Trojan. All Trojans are Nasty. i am not sure where i obtained this, But since its "Self-Replicating" make sure you have good Protection. like Nod32 avg freeeddtion virus scanner

My Webroot and Avg caught as i was just about to go to bed. Its gone now. But I feel i should warn you.

xD. this is just a Trojan i have never incountered =/ Self Replicating? i never downloaded anyfiles or accepted any, but pop-ups do come up now and again, but iv never incounterd or heard of a Self-Replicating Trojan.

Erm, for one, i dont. im not sure how i got it. prolly clicked a pop-up somewhere. and if they have been around, for a long time. wtf? i hardly ever get popups or click random links. tbh, im not exactly sure how i obtatined this, it was an easy fix. so it wasnt a big deal.

@ontopic: had same trojan, funny thing is that mks online scanner could get rid off it ( it delete it copies but couldn find the root file ). Anyway downloaded avg and viola it did the job. I know where did i get it and unfortunetlly it was necessary. Whell you usually get some crappy trojans or whatever while downloading cracks. Normally my Sygate and Mks online fixed those cases, anyway i'm glad that i've downloaded AVG Free.
