    3 new siggies. But I can't decide!

    And one old one, but I just took a look at some siggies that featured males. And looked cool. I havn't really gone into custom brushes, so I didn't bother with those cool effects Shadow Death does in his siggies, if in fact it's custom brushes he uses (like how his current siggie has that cool snow-like.. uh.. whatever it is at the bottom).

    Well, here's some amateur work, 3 new siggies I've made, resized the old "The Count" which is actually the translation of my last name, "LeCompte", which is french. No, I'm not french, I just stink like one if I don't take a shower...and am a bit lazy. ANYWAYS, let's start the voting! Don't really know which to chose myself... I like them all.

    I really like how this one turned out, I used the simple gradient tool to simulate sunlight through some overcast after darking it up a bit, then used the color intensity to flesh out the color from the gray. I made the text go along with it in it's own layer. And somehow, the scythe of this grim reaper somehow got a nice shine to it, I didn't even try to add that "reflection" where the scythe is brightest.

    I'm probably goona do more than just a simple resize to this one, probably redo it all together, but will deffinately keep the font how it is, or make it better if at all possible.

    Here's the new version. Couldn't recreate the text in terms of layer styling, but I think I did a decent one to replace it. This way it goes along with the bright light source behind it, I think atleast.

    And there's this old one I got, but I still need to resize it. I don't expect it to get much appraise over the others.. lol.

    So yea, I love deviantART just as much as I love bevel&embossing my text in photoshop CS. lol

    lol, I dunno.. I kinda liked him.

    As for the wisdom siggy, I'm surprised that even got one praise, much less 2... Especially since it got put down the most at the last message board I used it at. A place called RPGPalace. <_<' They called it some cow/goat skull with wings.. >_>

    So that's 1 vote for the hellsing siggy, 0 votes for the cat-reaper (lol), 1 vote for the angelic siggy, 2 votes for the count, and 2 votes for the wisdom. I think I'm goona let more votes come in over night. lol.

    You mean the Hellsing one, or the first "LeCompte" siggy?

    Well, the more I look at em, the more I like that angelic one, with gold lettering. That and the new LeCompte siggy.

    I just wish I didn't have 70 posts to go untill I can use the matching avatar to the LeCompte siggy.

    EDIT: Ah well, I decided to just go with the Hellsing one just for the sake of having a new siggy. But once I get 200 posts and can use one of my own avatars, I'll probably switch over to that new version LeCompte siggy.

    Those signatures really arn't yours. You merely added text to a cut out, which is majority of what others do, but these really don't have any secondary "brushing" to them. Pretty bold of you.

    Did I say the original images were mine? No, I said they were from deviantART. Atleast I tried to imply that when I said I love bevel and embossing text as much as I love deviantART. Besides, if you took notice, 99% of all the siggies here are done with images from the net, 75% of them from deviantART. So if you wanted to put me down...
    FISSION MAILED!

    lmao... As for a recount of votes, here's where it stands..

    HellsingG = 2 votes
    CatReaperG = 1 votes
    AngelicG = 2 votes
    LeCompte = 2 votes
    Wisdom of A/O = 2 votes

    Actually, the Wisdom of Alpha and Omega is practically (90%) original. The "being" in the middle is a highly edited neon genesis evangelion "Eva Unit 01". The rest is completely original, especially the character the being is ment to be. It's from the Everlegend series of book co-authored by me, and the character, and his background, was invented by me (with the exception of the world he resides in, though I had some hand in that too). The original siggy of that is this one, where it's slightly less original since the knight is an artist's adaptation of the Ragnarok Online "Dark" Crusader.

    I wasn't implying that you were a ripper, that would suggest everyone who makes signatures is a ripper. As for a reference to deviant art, you had just editted that in. I really don't care for the matter, I am quite removed. I am blandly stating fact.

    OMG dude, you're just trying to piss me off, so stop. I put the reference to deviantART when I first posted the thread starter. Just because you didn't notice it, doesn't mean I tried claiming ownership of the original works. If you want to pick a fight where you're "quite removed", then go ahead. I'm sure your "calmness" and "chill attitude" will make it seem like you won.

    I didn't say you were claiming me a ripper, I said you were claiming me to be a plagiarizer. Here, let's review...

    I'll agree with you, you weren't stating I was a ripper, you were stating I was a plagiarizer. And like I said, I did NOT just edit that in, ESPECIALLY when I responded to you stating I did reference to it. So, basically, you assumed I did. Well, once again.. FISSION MAILED! And no, you are not blandly stating a fact, you're trying to piss me off with your useless posts. Everyone here who's been to deviantART would know these original works are from DA without even needing me to mention it. And if they saw me try to state that I was the owner of them, especially without any actual proof, they'd keelhaul me. lol.
