And one old one, but I just took a look at some siggies that featured males. And looked cool. I havn't really gone into custom brushes, so I didn't bother with those cool effects Shadow Death does in his siggies, if in fact it's custom brushes he uses (like how his current siggie has that cool snow-like.. uh.. whatever it is at the bottom).
Well, here's some amateur work, 3 new siggies I've made, resized the old "The Count" which is actually the translation of my last name, "LeCompte", which is french. No, I'm not french, I just stink like one if I don't take a shower...and am a bit lazy. ANYWAYS, let's start the voting! Don't really know which to chose myself... I like them all.
I really like how this one turned out, I used the simple gradient tool to simulate sunlight through some overcast after darking it up a bit, then used the color intensity to flesh out the color from the gray. I made the text go along with it in it's own layer. And somehow, the scythe of this grim reaper somehow got a nice shine to it, I didn't even try to add that "reflection" where the scythe is brightest.
I'm probably goona do more than just a simple resize to this one, probably redo it all together, but will deffinately keep the font how it is, or make it better if at all possible.
Here's the new version. Couldn't recreate the text in terms of layer styling, but I think I did a decent one to replace it. This way it goes along with the bright light source behind it, I think atleast.
And there's this old one I got, but I still need to resize it. I don't expect it to get much appraise over the others.. lol.
So yea, I love deviantART just as much as I love bevel&embossing my text in photoshop CS. lol
