I know that you don't. But if you don't try on a signature, what's the point of people criticizing you...if it's not your best work, and you put no effort in it.

Well if you really put in effort, than ok.
A few things...
Try not to color the border.
Really experiment with different types of font.
You are working with a variety of font sizes, which is a good start...but the font type itself needs to fit the signature better.
Try not to use those shadow blending options on the font.
Work on connecting and blending the background with the render, and don't be afraid to cover a small portion of the render with a few brushes or effects...or whatever.

Keep reading tuts, and keep experimenting on your own.
