stay away from bevel and on the second one its just ugly imo.l i can see u tried for a scratchy metal effect but it just doesnt go with the blue.

i just dont feel your sigs, its not about animating.

make a good animated avatar or something.

but for a sig, you want a nice 500*100 usually with a good border and color flow.

mine is simple.

its like crude oil resting on a grid.

make a theme about yours and it will have a much nicer finished look
