Hey,
I haven't done photoshop in months, so I can't do much anymore.
This is just a few basic brushs, not much to it. Comment on the font, and the whole signature. (I've never been good with fonts)

Sorry.
Looks Like Just Whored A Bunch Grunge Brushes.
Render Isnt Blended.
No Light Source.
At First Glance Didnt Even See Font, It Was Badly Placed.

I Can Link You If You Need Some.
Real men don't use brushes. If you want to expand your knowledge try more new stuff.
watch the two video tutorials I posted. How I made my current signature, same way.

Uhm sorry for raping the thread, but since my tutorial was mentioned by both me and crownc I'll rather just take it up here.
I was thinking about making like 5-10 tutorials of Extreme basics to where I am now. Which I guess is like.. above middle average? lol. Yes, I would be speaking in them and explaining thoroughly why and what I'm doing.
Would that be something people are interested in?.
i agree with u bro..
Waif, stop the spamming, only retards who actually think that a post count can get them credit on a online forum spam...
Also waif, saying to use stocks is pretty noobish. Sure stocks are good sometimes, but allot of signatures don't use them... we've evolved in the last 200 years you know.
@Flawz, a TUT on the destroyed effect in your signature and the grungy splash in the top right would be awsome. Also little things like gradient maps for new people and a few little known/used tools would help allot of people get better at PS
MIKE, sorry for leaving you until last.
I might sound a little condesending but there are a few major problems.
For one, the render isn't well blended. Also the BG and the render's colors don't match. The text is pretty bad aswell.
RENDER: take a smudge brush and set the setting to bout 80%, then go into the brush interface and set the size jitter and roundness jitter to 100%. Then go to scatter and put it to 500%.
COLORS: Take the eyedropper tool and take the red from the render's shoulder, then make a new layer, place it behind the render and paint it the color, then set the layer to hue and 60-80%. Now make a new layer, place it in front of everything anf paint it white. Then set the layer to soft light and 70%.
TEXT: I'd do 1 of 2 things here. 1, just leave out the text. 2, put the text angled around the render somewhere.
Er. I like it sort of..
I like the grunge type affect.
