I think you mean a transparent BG well if u deleted the Layer Called Background or just hide it
well, say i open a render...how do i make its background transparent?
I just said how to you delete the Bg layer or hide it.
i know how to delete the background layer...im saying i open a new picture/render, i change it to a layer.
but it still has the black background...
a render shouldnt have black bg they have transparant bgs

make an acc click on the image then youll get the proper render.
ah ok, kool, but the backgrounds still are white..
No theyll be transpaarent thats proabaly your bg layer thats white.
The BG look like it's white, but when you open it it is transparent, that's how every proper c4d's are.
