i agree it is to dark, other then that it is good :P
v2 is more brighter than v1, it looks nice, but i don't know i guess there are still need to work more on this. but great job man.

awkey took me some time to figure out wheres what.... somewhere on the top center a bit to the right you can see some cyan lines, thats the helmet (i think)... it looks pretty nice but you should seriously work on making it recognizable....

try putting an omni lightsource in the lower left. should improve it a bit
