i had a white border, which rocked, but u cant see it because of board bg, so used another one... >.<

9/10. I see some problems with teh scanlines.
nice, verry nice... but as jhewt said the scanlines need some work... remove the scanlines from ontop of the text, and fade the scanlines on the render... that might look a lil better.
p.s- if white borders look better, do what i sometimes do and add a 2 px white border on "inside" then add the 1 px "centre" black...
