The render is blended poorly, and it lacks some serious depth.

I can see what you were trying to do, but you should use a different render and blend it abit more. Text needs fixing.

    Crap.
Barely Any Lighting From What I See.
    Render's Poorly Blended.
Actually Looks Like A Stock Too Me.
    Has No Flow Or Depth.
The Text Was Just Slapped On There?
Maybe You Should Read A Few Tutorials On Lighting, Blending, Etc..
Dosent Look Like You Tried At All.

Please shush and go back to where you where a month ago. I can't stand this crap anymore.

By the way. I just realized until now you're using my blending tutorial?. What you're doing wrong is something very minor, but it turns out to look bad. Let me demonstrate with my current signature.

#1: This is simply the stock image copied and I erased everything but the stock, like you did. Then I copied the stock with no background and did some smudging to get a little background to it. I did this twice and placed it under the first one I made.
#2: Simply all the effects above. But I erase parts that interfere with the stock underneath.
    #3: Gradient maps. Duuh.
#4: All the effects, C4D. That I don't want the color to be changed by the gradient map, I place above.

I think what you did wrong was either placing the background erased stock at the very top and worked everything else as a background. Or you simply erased too much from the effects with a too large brush. Remember, if you want to keep doing signatures the way you are now:

    [Finishing touches]
    [Gradient Maps]
    [Effects]
    [Stock]

I don't think I can explain any better. Just don't rely on this. This is my work flow and I've learned how to work with it myself. Create your own and practice. Eventually you'll get better by time. I myself need to practice more but I'm such a slacker.
