Too messy if you ask me and very rough for this kinds siggy.
I think theres a bit too much white its too bright in contrast to everything else maybe tone that down slighty and make it cover less of this sig or try making it some kind of flame type thing which would flow with the flames coming off him maybe?. Also i would change the text. And just above the render part of the image seems desaturated i dont think it should be. You got something though just needs a bit more work to it i think. I might have some flame type brushes that would work beautfil if you smudged the white slighty ill try find them but it could take a while i got loads of brushes to go through if you havnt got any that is :P
lol, nothing is desaturated, i just took a random rust red and yellow stock and sei it to hue. I don't have a flame brush and really never wanted to puut one there, I can tone down the white thow.

You guys depend too much on brushes, imo. That white thing that overlays on the render messed it up. Like Insane said, its very messy and the colors are a disaster. The render is barely blended. Don't take it harshly its just my critique.
I'm kinda going for the messy look on all of my signatures.
i personally like it that way, but yet also i'm new to PS, and i only have 6.0 (SHIT), so i find all the new features in CS3 ROCK, so guys have fun while i'm stuck with PS 6.0 >.<
Not bad,but one of my admin's @ name was Evilmage ^^ that really caught my attention.
He doesnt look like much of a mage though...no robes,no staff...but evil,yes,quite ;P

Hmm, i think it looks cool, but the name got nothing to do with the sig.

=] what a great surprise!By the way,evil is now a web designer,he has a RS server and he cracks l2 clients.
Anyway,I think the sig is good,but a little less dark and a bit mpore details would make it even better.Like a glowing soul jewel on the staff and some dark gold trimed black mage robes would make him look like an evil 'kick ass' mage.
