its alright for a first, but never put the effect layer over your render, and try to blend the render and use colors in the background

im sure he read a tutorial or two before making them, pm me and ill pm you back with some tutorial links ;)

so stop spamming...both of you. Omer glad to see you've decided to make your first sig, however I'd recommend looking at the some tutorials to help. There are many tutorials in the port section and in stickies. Of course I (and the port mods) don't want you to start looking at tuts before you even make your first sig on here, we like to see improvement.
I suggest for the sig you add some text, move the render layer in front of the background, and...well....add a border >_>...

I've been doing sigs for like 10 months .. and i started firstly with tutorials .. some of them might seem hard .. but it's always worth trying to learn new techniques and styles .. so you can later on make your own sigs .. improvisate and connect the different styles and techniques in your knowledge .. :)

as for the signature, if you gonna use brushes try downloading some good ones from deviantart. read some tutorials and im sure you will learn quickly as most people do here ;)
