How do I make my sig not a .psd file?

When I try to open my file for my siggy on RZ I can't do it.. It says like invalid file or something like that.... I think it is because it's a .psd file, doesn't it have to be like a .gif or something else?
Please tell me how to solve this problem if you know.

In Photoshop. File -> Save As. Under where you can put a name for the file, change what type of file it should be saved as.

or use the file>save for web feature which allows you to see what it will look like in that format.
