Hey there Keez!
I needed critiques from a special class of the internet..
As the guy I'm submitting this to is part of this class :)
And it would help me out knowing what this class likes.. see ?
I didn't put it on DA just because there are good designers who will defenetely appreciate it and there's no point, the guy's not a designer.

Can't see why you're hating, I'm a professional working with lots of coding teams and as a freelancer (Not too succesful, errr..).
But it's ok to feel a little bit inferior, I've trained hard for almost 4 years now, that's the result.
It may not look complete but the effects used on it and everything was developed by me, never looked at a tutorial..never.
So, here are the advantages of "working alone".
Waiit.. you are professional? Then why do I only see a waaay to gold potato with some weird black glow behind it (that probably should look like shadow or whatever) and some sun rays or .... srsly, you do not need any skills for this. Go make something you need to have as much skills for, as you are saying you have.
:) Trust me, you do ..
If it's just so easy.. and you seem to know how to make it, then ..do it.
Here's your big mistake : A thing doesn't have to be hard to make in order to be professiona/good/nice.

I can make such thing in less than one hour, it's simple..but it's awesome:)
It may look simple from outside, like a web-layout.. but the work that's been put into it is a hard work.
You people are wrong, sorry. I know I'm right so I'm gonna go with my point of view to death.
You need skils for everything you make as a designer, doesn't matter if it's fast or slow..
An artwork doesn't have to be full of crap elements or hard to make in order to be a professional artwork or a good one.
You can use photoshop and design stuff, great. But you need to stop calling yourself a "professional" because people throw that word around just because they get paid to do something, but there's nothing professional about it at all.
Freelance work is not "professional", it is "amateur". If you're a professional you have a registered business number and you are self employed. Calling yourself "freelance" is the first sign that you're NOT a professional.
I refuse to believe that the person who made that potato, also made those last 2 images you posted. A true "professional" would have consistent quality across all of their work, not just having some good ones and some shit ones.
There are several notable people from the Portfolio section who have become professional designers hired by actual companies. THEY are professionals. You're a kid with a hobby.
My brother is studying to become a graphical artist at college, and the work he does is guaranteed 10x better than anything you can do. Yet he's a college student and you're a "freelance professional".
