Why exactly does it repeat at the end? It makes it look like a mistake.

And it's too bland without any color. A good pop would make it much better. (it's also hard to notice the little character)

I love the shading in it, but I isn't a fan of the text. And there just needs to be more going on in a tag, or more carefull details for a 10/10.

The "repeating" is called a clipping mask. It's not a mistake, no-one could eff something up that bad.
Why is there no color..hm.... *cough* grayscale *cough*. What do you mean by a "good pop"?
    Small character = sprite.

Actually, thats not what a clipping mask. A clipping mask is a tool in photoshop that hides the background off an image, or the outer part of one image based on the second.

What that is is just taking a piece of the image and adding it to the end. I'm not sure if you guys are just taking terms you heard before and applying it to random stuff or what. ._.

And no shit it's gray scale. But that's not particularly a good when it comes to this kind of piece. And a "pop" of color is a term that means when you have mostly neutrals or gray scale, you add one or two colors to a certain object to make it stand out.

I could barely tell it was a sprite at first on my laptops screen since it's black and white levels are so close to the backgrounds'.

That copied part of the image can be made from a clipping mask, or many other ways. And if you wouldn't mind... FUCK OFF. Get the fuck off please :)

And instead of making up words, you can say add colors to it... which would still make you look like a dipshit because IT'S OBVIOUSLY GRAYSCALE ON PURPOSE. And look at the shading in the image not the colors BECAUSE THERE ARE NO COLORS!

If you couldn't tell that there was a sprite, you need either glasses or an IQ of at least 10.

    @ Rainwizzard

Actually a "pop" of color is used WIDELY in not only art, but also design and fashion. You really shouldn't be trying to put down someones IQ when you didn't even know this.

If they did ACTUALLY use clipping mask to do it, then go ahead and call it that. But whats the point when that could have easily been done with cut and paste? ;P

Now I KNOW some of you guys are just kids getting into tutorials here, but do you really have to get so defensive when I try to give a bit of constructive criticism? Besides, it's not really your place to try and pick a fight when I'm not even giving the c&c to you.
