    Stop relying on topaz for your images. If they don't look complete without them, Then practice your skills without topaz. If you can get better and not rely on a add-on, it will help you allot in the long run.

    On topic: It looks like you did this in 6 steps.
    Stock>Blurr stock>Render>Splatter bruch>Lighting>Gradiant map

    Maybe add more flow and try to incorporate more burning/dodging to make the render stand out more.
