To complex. Too much going on for a simple loading screen.

No depth perception, colors are all over the place, nothing blends well, text needs work (being nice) and its basically a bunch of brushes splattered around.

Just my opinion.

As Sentrix said, there is no blending at all, text doesn't fit... All in all it looks very messed because brushes were just thrown there.

i actually quite like the second one, just get rid of the stars over his face and upper body, it will give it more depth
