    [Models/Renders] some of my works ;P

    they aren't BAD but I'd like to see some of you guys trying 3D modeling; it's really complicated, but you get to make some pretty kick-ass stuff (not what I made like on the first day; which most of these pics are)

    the last one I found a tut and finished in about an hour (doing hmw with it)

    the last one was rendered with a much better render; Mental ray. I did that one today and the previous ones were just through the software rendering. Yeah it's a a hella nice modeller :P

    feel free to post them :) I just followed some tutorials; I think the hardest one...well the one that took the most time was the last one, but the ring of fire is actualy an animation, I just took a still from it

    Ball + magnet tool > Sculpture

    Pre-made Image > Blanket

    Emitter + Volumetrics (probably pre-made) > Ring of Fire

    Ball + Smoothing + Reflection + pre-made backround > Ball

    lets see:


    >>I use a FUR material to cover up my ball, increase the ammount of hair on it and edited it a bunch

    >>I made an Egg-shape sphere (Which I'm sure you TOTALLY know how to do) gave it a new shade and use a sculpt geometry tool to make all the areas (again I'm sure youknow EXACTLY what I did)

    >>My ring of fire was complete dynamics and yes I followed a fucking tutorial

    >>here's the steps to make my chalice with a blanket on it you 'tard:

    *went to side view and made a curved line with a line tool, then I use a revolve tool to make the chalice
    *made a sphere and put it in the chalicel; making it the collision object for the cloth
    *made a plane, enlarged it, gave it a cloth panel>then garmet, raise poly count, then watched it fall.

    >>my ball was made through the magical powers of Mental Ray, which gives it its surrealistic look. Yes I put a prefab image in there and put it on a ball then put the plane and sphere that was going to reflect it in the sphere and did a bunch of other crap.

    I say you wasted your time, and as for owned, you just owned yourself. What "FUR" material? Either you magic booleaned, wasted time using a point manipulation tool, or killed the points. Also, it's called Volumetrics, not dynamics.

    Why are you so defensive? Anyway, I'm gonna take a brake from this section; this shit has to stop(over reactions and shitty "art").

    well you think you know everything by being a complete asshole in that post and you don't know what 3D modeler I used so stop trying to win a war with more than an edgy comeback

    also I'm pretty sure I used dynamics to make the ring of fire, as well as using a circle whic I'm so sure you know how to accomplish, considering you still don't know what I'm using. yeah thanks for making fun of my art, I'm sure you can make much "better" stuff buddy :)
