I have downloaded a profile picture and saved changes. In Images I have ticked the box for show signature, show Avatars and show images but it is not showing the image I have downloaded.Get what to work?

do a black white black 3 px border then set that layer to soft light blending. that should look good.

dont like sig only 1 part nice : CCCP sig dont have bgr or nice effects
the sign don't need to have background effects... i like it its simple man ;)
but i still think that you have to change that border... never use bevel and emboss to make the border ;)
Ill change it once i fix my brushes.
I done something to them and now they come out fook up. :S
