you just resized the original wallpaper....but as you just started on photoshop ill let it go but dont do it again because your just claiming someone elses work as your own.
since your new to photoshop i suggest you read some tutorials, to pick up the basics which doesnt take that long to learn

awww you poor thing you're best using PSP 7 or smth if you're a beginner it's easy to use and you can find lots of nice brushes on google. plus you need to find better fonts if you want your banner to really stand out.. ah well
