It seems a little odd from my point of view, It is my first try so. O-o

Looks a little strange. The lines shouldn't cover up your main picture. I suggest you erase some of the lines that block the main part of the render/text. Other than that good first signature. Though it looks like you just put a picture and added some lines, blending options and text.

The image is nice =] i like the style you've chosen

But to improve as DaOdin said erase the lines around the image and Text so they stand out more.

It looks over sharpened and those thick very visible scan lines kill it. Lower the opacity more of the scan lines.
