imo its really good for your first work. its needs a render or something though. also try and work on the text.

That's REALLY good for your first time. First timers usually use pre-made images as backgrounds, but you were original. You're gonna get good if you keep practicing :P

yeah, but sometimes, brushes could be very usefull!
True, very true, but here's a little secret, designers who use brushes for sigs don't get much rep+ out there, if you learn to make sigs without them and use for example smudging and filter effects, yes filter effects ;) you'll get to pro faster then when using brushes :)
