first one looks cool. I can see u're not to good with the brush, but it seems u used some filters well. Keep on training and you will gain more exp and make better sig.
let me give u a hint: use stroke (1-3pxl), that's a border ;)
on the first one i didnt use eny brishes only filters :P and one font :Pp
on the secont and third i used brushes :}

you cant make vector in Adobe Photoshop lolbitmap images...jpegs/gifs and any other one u can make with photoshop are bitmap images...they are made from a series of pixels...they do not inlarge well or shrink very well either...they are mostly good for images that will stay that same size...this is why when working in photoshop you need to choose the template size first...these are the image types u all are using for ur sigs...
vector images are done in illustrator...at this moment i cant remember what format they are saved in...i think like eps but I do not know for sure...anywho they are used for images that will need to be inlarged and shrunk down for whatever they are to be used for...they are made of a series of shapes NOT pixels...this allows for them to be manipulated without distortion...all big business logos are vector images...this allows for them to be shrunk down for business cards and inlarged for placement on the side of trucks...

its true you cant make a vector that you want to resize but it is possible to make a vector either from scratch or just mapping over an existing image.
that sig is'nt vector by the way, its a chrome filter
