I see one side totally faded and the other not-> ruins it, change the preset colors then filter -> render->clouds , filter->render->difference clouds and voila ; try some filters at filter->disort they give better results

i did all of that excpet for distort, i faded in a very very faint gradient layer over and it created that effect, ill take it off if it doesnt look good.

do the steps u did to make that bg, then do filter-> disort-> wave

then duplicate that layer, do the wave thingy but in another way
then duplicate again, again wave in another way, then put the layer style of all layers (accept the bg to screen)

lol i tried the wave thing...it didnt come out so good...

it just doesnt have the feel im looking for.

i want a gradient sky with clouds and lightning erupting, it looks pretty nice on my

desktop :D

let me see what you would do with it valix.
