Ok, you should try blending the picture more, and making the picture smaller. Also use custom brushes to make nice looking effects (use deviantart.com and search for brushes for whatever program you use e.g photoshop 7.0 brushes).
Also a few forum tips; don't double post, post your submition in the correct place this is the signatures section.
