Your current is better.
Lessen the opacity of the scanlines, and try a diferrent text. This one is identical to the text in the other sig and it seems out of place, not only in terms of placement but also in terms of style.
Part of the colouring is nice and part of the tech brushing is ok too, I guess.
The blending seems decent, as far as I can see, but still, the render is too hard to see.
There's just too much going on in the sig. If you lower the opacity of the scanlines and put them under some brushing layers or if you totally remove them I think it will look much better.
