new sig

this one didnt take long at all, background took maybe 10 minutes.
then cutting out picture took like 5 minutes and then blending everything took about another 10-15 minutes.
tell me what you think.


there is a white border around the image, but doenst display that well on here, it really gives the image a finishing touch.

the text is the main thing, its one of my favorite bands.

their new cd "the war within" sucks ass though...

its not as progressive as their 2 main albums "Of One Blood" and "The Art Of Balance".

Shadows fall is a Metal band that combines: Thrash, Progressive, and Melodic Death Metal into a very very amazing sound.

the lead singer has the typical In Flames growl voice and the power metal clean voice, and one of the guitarists does and insanely clean low growl.

i wanted the background to be very very dark to allow the white border and text to be the dominate images in this signature.

tried it, it really doesnt add anything, i like the solid 1px white border.

it really really looks good with a black background.

7/10 The text i cool.Maybe u should try 2 px white border?Because i can't see any border :) and it's ok that the bacground is dark, but you should use a little bit more dark blue.

its a very very special font, the font for the letters is a modified version of the above font, i havent seen the shadows fall font released anywhere

edit: I'm not rating anymore, from now on I'm just gona give constructive comments.

1. your nickname should always be the biggest on the sig, cuz you will be remembered by your sig as your nickname is used by several ppl alltough your the pattent maker

2. the border is nice but u gave to much thought of it, a 1px border does it, even if it isn't viewable in some parts cuz of the black bg

3. the background are just some filters mixed up in a bad way, you can come nice results by just mixing filters up, atleast way better then this.

hope ya learned somethin :D

I wouldn't worry bout that. I distictly remember that mods never/rarely visit here.

But why not just screenshot what it looks like on that forum, blank out the forums address from the address bar then sorted. No longer rule breaking.

i know, ive done much better then that... just this time i want something plain and simple.

it didnt take to long, i think it flows nicely, and also that background is more of agrundish thing, its lightly brushed over, very lightly just to blend a bit better with the text.

overall i give this sig a 7/10 it isnt really that good compared to what i have done, but hey... not everything or everyone is perfect.
