I think for vector u just need ideas and imagination .. and i tried to look 4 a tut .. cant find a good one

Do not bevel the text. It needs a border. I see a grid in the background, try to delete it, and change the colors.

well first one green corners to much and inner glow on text is goofy not bad try though :P the second has too many colors hope i helped :P
