well, it looks ok, but you need to fix up the rough edges around the render, and try putting him on the highest layer under the border... that may help get rid of those lines.

hmm well the BG should blend better with the actual pic. try this.
when u have your pic on a different layer on top of the BG layer right click on it. select blending options and in the "blend mode" select blending as luuminosity.
now the pic is like the BG so u can colour it easily.

make a colour adjustment layer and then do some settings. see what u come up with =]

Eh, for my tutorial u needed to use the render ( blurred ) as colour ... but you have used a blue colour for the background. Dont really think mine tutorial can be used like that :| . oh well... its still ok . 6,5.
