l0ls i been into Sprites signature if you can see from my previous thread .
I just tried to do a normal signature using cabal online render and some of my effects i learnt when making the sprite sigs .
Take a look and please rate

i dont really like the choice of colors, orange to green to purple. =/ ugh.
render goes extermely well though.
and love the light effect at the top

I personally like your second try better. These v1 and v2 ones aren't really exciting. A bit too empty, animation is just awkward for v1 and they're both very empty. Also, very bad choice of colors.
Don't use animation in a signature. It just cost time and it doesn't improve your signature.

if i were you i'd nake the backgrount in vs a little more detailed or in the monotone one just add some color and shading.
Lighting is forced, and colors are terrible. Negative space doesn't work too well either.MAde 2 new one .

but you should work with masks course i can see the black typo on the left site of the sig...
and the green move thing is crap.. try one without that moving
and @ Flawz i think not overloaded animations are ok.. all you need to do is trying to get the best timing and look what would fit into it. nothing big but a eye catcher is ok
Eye catcher animations are not ok. Animations should not in anyway distract from the focal point of your sig; and most animations do that. That's why it is preferred to leave them out.
