If your preference is Abstract for example, your not going to like something that was meant to be Realistic and vice versa.
I think you should start critting thing's for what they are and not what you want or expect them to be.
I'd also like to know why you attack my other piece using 2 different approach's, first you say i used a tutorial in an attempt to discredit it. Then go on to say i probably saw it and liked it, again to try and discredit it. Why?
